Key geological stops will cover the geological history of the mountains, including: the Lapstone Monocline, Hawkesbury Sandstone, Coal Measures and Basalt Caps. We’ll also be taking in many of the grand vistas the mountains have to offer, and enjoying some of the more touristy things too, such as Wentworth Falls, Echo Point, Scenic World (Scenic Railway, Skyway) and the Mount Tomah Botanic Gardens.
